Students are required to attend an on-campus immersion session in the spring of the first year, and then again in the spring of the second year. Both of these sessions are devoted to applied analytics projects.

Residents of Missouri who are considering online master’s programs in data analytics, data science, and business intelligence may also want to explore the many out-of-state options for earning degrees in these analytics fields. There are currently 68 schools in other states offering 83 online master’s in analytics programs that accept students from Missouri. Most of these schools – 57 of the 68 – have programs that are 100% online. The other 11 schools have programs that require no more than two campus visits per year. In most cases, tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state online students, but prospective applicants should confirm all costs with each school before applying, as some schools do charge higher tuition rates for out-of-state students.
