Georgetown University - Online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) Program
The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University offers an online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program. This dynamic, engaging, cohort-based program draws both working professionals and those just finishing a bachelor’s degree. The MSF curriculum is real-world based and focuses on topics such as ethics, global finance, valuation methods, markets, behavioral finance, management of corporate risk, financial leadership, and financial accounting.
Georgetown’s online MSF program begins in the fall of each year and follows a cohort-based model of education to foster lasting relationships with peers and faculty. It is mostly online with four required in-person experiences. Two visits are held in the first year of the program and include a two-day on-campus orientation and a one-week October residency at Georgetown’s Washington DC campus. The final two residencies are connected to a Global Consulting Project in which students work with an international firm on a consulting project. These residencies include an intensive on-campus preparation weekend in April of the second year, and a global residency trip in May of that year.
