Arizona State University Online Bachelor of Arts in Business - Corporate Accounting

Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business offers an online Bachelor of Arts in Business with a concentration in Corporate Accounting. The BA degree is specifically designed to prepare students for management accounting careers. Students can go on to take the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) exam. Students may go on to careers as accounting managers, internal auditors, chief financial officers, cost accounting directors, and financial analysts.

The BA in Corporate Accounting is a completely online program and does not require any campus visits. The degree can be completed in 4 years attending full-time. Students are required to submit ACT/SAT scores if the required minimum GPA of 3.0 is not met or student is not in the top 25% of the high school graduating class. Start dates are offered every 7.5 weeks throughout the year and courses run 7.5 weeks each.

Courses for the Corporate Accounting BA are delivered through videos, simulations, labs, and assessments. In addition, interactive activities with peers and professors take place through multimedia and conferencing tools. The BA in Corporate Accounting comprises 120 credits of which 51 credits are upper division hours. Courses include Intermediate Accounting for Corporate Accountants; Financial Statement Analysis; Governance, Risk, Compliance Internal Controls and Ethics; Management Accounting for Corporate Accountants I & II; Taxes for Corporate Accountants; Global Supply Operations; and Business Law and Ethics for Managers.
