Applicants must first meet UF’s basic admission criteria including those required by a student’s individual program.

Certificate programs offered by UF require fewer courses than degree programs and may not require official admission to the university. Sometimes an individual college or department can require admission. Permission by the department or faculty coordinator is required before commencement of a certificate program.

You can earn college credit or participate in non-credit earning professional and personal development courses. These courses can be web-based or delivered via other methods such as through the postal service.
