Institutional Accrediting Agency: American Bar Association Corporate Address: 2121 San Diego Avenue San Diego, CA 92110 Calendar Type: Thomas Jefferson School of Law operates on a semester system with courses offered year-round. Students may begin enrollment for fall or spring terms, and may then participate in Fall, Spring, or Summer courses. Credit-Earning Options: Transfer credit requests may be submitted for grades of at least 3.0 after the completion of one semester (sixteen hours) of on-campus or online credits, as well as maximum eight credits from an ABA and AALS accredited program to the Master of Laws program. Additional transfer restrictions apply. Delivery Format: Courses are offered both on-campus in online, including e-books, e-lessons, synchronous video/audio chat, and structured, interactive, e-discussions on an asynchronous discussion board, answering and posing questions to faculty. Geographic Restrictions: While the main campus is located in San Francisco, CA, entire degrees can be earned online, from the convenience of the student’s home. Scholarships Offered: Various need- and merit-based scholarships are offered to currently enrolled students. More information can be acquired from the Office of Financial Aid. Loans Offered: Various Private and Federal loans are available for students, such as the Federal Pell Grant, Stafford Loans, and a number of other subsidized and unsubsidized options.
