Northwestern College operates on a semester-basis, with courses beginning in the Fall and Spring.
Credit-Earning Options:
Maximum 32 credits may be achieved by demonstrating competency on a standardized exam (such as AP or CLEP), and transfer credits of minimum C- grade will be accepted from accredited institutions, evaluated on an individual basis.
Delivery Format:
Courses are offered both on the St. Paul, MN campus, as well as online.
Geographic Restrictions:
Students can take courses on the traditional campus, or from their own homes, taking courses online, at their own convenience.
Scholarships Offered:
Various endowed, institutional, and named annual scholarships are available to all students enrolled in on-campus or online courses.
Loans Offered:
Northwestern College uses the Direct Lending Program through the U.S. Department of Education, making available loans such as the Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Parent Loan, or Un-/Subsidized Federal Stafford Loans.
