Duquesne University School of Leadership and Professional Advancement Online Programs
Duquesne University's School of Leadership and Professional Advancement (SLPA) has been awarded Distinguished Credit Program as well as noncredit program recognition. They have also won a Creative Use of Technology Award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education.
In recent studies done by Noel Levitz, an external research firm, Duquesne University SLPA students regularly ranked their level of satisfaction as being higher than the national average in all categories. Included in the studies were service levels and instructional effectiveness.
The Duquesne University School of Leadership and Professional Advancement has been offering online education programs since 1996. The Sloan Consortium Catalog of Online Educational Programs lists the SLPA course offering, giving them recognition as being high quality online degree programs.
Sloan-C which is sponsored by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation looks at the five pillars of quality in online education when rating programs for inclusion. These pillars include: access, faculty satisfaction, institutional cost effectiveness, learning effectiveness and student satisfaction.

Students can receive advanced standing toward their degrees through previous coursework, testing and credits for professional or military experience and other certification. An academic advisor can discuss this with you.
